Touchmark on Saddle Drive is Helena’s leading full-service senior living community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through exceptional service and quality housing. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Resident Relations Manager.

As the Resident Relations Manager, you will enrich lives each day by coordinating move-in’s and move-out, welcoming new residents to the Touchmark and serving as their point of contact. You will work cooperatively with all departments to support Independent Residents and, when appropriate, support them as they transfer to Assisted Living or Memory Care. You will also manage the Front Desk staff and oversee policies/procedures related to Independent Living.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• College degree in related field preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in a related field
• 1+ years’ experience managing staff

Requirements include but not limited to:

• Must be knowledgeable and experienced in the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social aspects of aged and disabled populations. Be innovative and creative in finding solutions to crises common to elderly people facing all aspects of lifestyle changes;
• Ability to be a self-starter, problem solver, and detail-oriented;
• Ability to assess resident needs and document pertinently and accurately;
• Must be able to communicate effectively with staff members and implement care plans as they relate to resident and family needs;
• Must possess good stress management and crisis intervention abilities;
• Ability to assess residents behavior and communicate to supervisor or appropriate person in a professional and intelligent manner;
• Ability to meet and follow the Washington Administrative Codes (WAC);

Essential Functions include but not limited to:

• Welcome new independent living residents to Touchmark and introduce them to other residents, serving as their point of contact during their acclimation period;
• Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Director, the Life Enrichment Director, Health & Fitness Director and the Health Services Administrator in support to plan, develop and implement activities, programs and events to promote the health and well-being of residents;
• Must be able to explain clearly to residents, families and employees the policies and procedures of the facility;
• Will coordinate the return of Touchmark residents who were out of the community for medical reasons by working with the resident, resident’s family, and by initiating contact with discharge planners and providing information on the facility’s services and move-in/admissions policies and procedures;
• Will address resident and resident’s family concerns, working with department managers and the Executive Director to bring about resolution to the concerns;
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the front desk and staff
