We are currently looking for an Mandarin tutor who can handle all ages (elementary-high school). MUST be able to tutor high school (and possibly up to adult). We would prefer fluent Mandarin speakers with a history in education. Ideally, we would like a teacher who can teach English to native Mandarin speakers, and vice versa.

Applicant must be organized, able to teach conversational Mandarin, study skills, and organization skills.

Applicant must be professional and punctual.

Applicant must be very responsive (especially through text messaging). Clients require quick responses, and our company relies on prompt responses in order to pair clients with a tutor in a timely manner.

Applicant must be willing to travel up to 30 minutes (though we try to keep travel times closer to 20 mins max). We pay higher than many other tutoring organizations to account for travel time.

This is an independent contractor position, so hours may not be enough for a full time position. Ideally we are looking for teachers/education majors who need extra work.

Right now, we do not have a need for online tutoring, so we are only looking for applicants willing to do in-person tutoring. Being able to teach more languages is a huge bonus.
