About the Role:

As a Recruiter at Consortio Sourcing, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical and general roles. We are looking for a Recruiter that is well versed in technical roles and responsibilities and is passionate about technology, design and digital products! You will be involved in every stage of the recruiting process with a focus on providing an exceptional candidate and client experience.

At Consortio Sourcing we have a dedicated new business development team which means you can focus your efforts on recruiting A-grade candidates and existing client management (If you are at that level.)

Our client base are all household names and represent some of the country’s most iconic organisations (ASX 50) and leaders in the global technology sector (tier 1 & 2 technology consulting and tech giants).

What you’ll do:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following.

• Manage recruiting process through all stages
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; review job descriptions for vacancies
• Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates, using innovative techniques including social networking, direct sourcing… again we are keen for your ideas here!! If you want to get weird in your approach we’re keen to hear it!
• Establish strong relationships with hiring managers. Develop a deep understanding of their objectives, challenges, and team style.
• Evaluate profiles of potential candidates, conduct preliminary phone screen assessments and make recommendations to managers
• Possess a solid understanding of technology and technical skills and be able to appropriately gauge a candidate’s technical skillset and experience
• Create, Strengthen and Maintain a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
• Build and maintain proactive relationships with potential candidates to create a pipeline of talent
• Schedule qualified candidates for interviews with hiring managers
• Provide advice to hiring managers regarding salary and daily rate negotiations with final candidates.
• Drive offer approval and negotiation. Champion Strong Candidates.

Our Perfect Candidate:

• 1 or more years of recruitment experience for technical roles, with an ability to source other roles
• Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills
• Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices.
• Experience using applicant tracking software (We use JobAdder but any experience is fine by us. )
• Experience recruiting candidates through social media, LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek, networks etc.

• Impeccable interviewing and documentation skills and attention to detail
• A passion for a culture of learning, resourcefulness, and a strong sense of urgency
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills for a fast-paced environment
