The Finance & IT Manager is responsible for managing and controlling the financial accounting, reporting and planning of the business, including the establishment and organizational compliance with finance related policies and procedures. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and has four accounting / clerical direct reports to support you in your work.

In your new role you will:

• Lead the financial planning, forecasting, and budget management for the organisation, and oversee financial functions including accounts and payroll
• Coordinate management and statutory reporting requirements including Board papers, BAS, and external audits
• Manage the treasury function, including cashflow management and forecasting, and investment strategies
• Enhance the organisation’s IT capabilities, by architecting technology-driven solutions for our systems

You will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance, along with qualifications for CA or CPA
• Proven experience in managing wide-ranging financial functions; with the ability to oversee these functions from a high level but also a willingness to do the hands-on work
• Ideally a combination of public practice and corporate sector experience
• Advanced proficiency in IT systems
