About the role

As part of a small team, reporting into the Finance Manager, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day Accounting responsibilities. With a positive and eager attitude, you will play a vital role within the business working collaboratively with numerous stakeholders ensuring quality and service excellence is achieved.

Responsibilities include but not limited to;

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• GL, Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Profit and Loss Analysis
• Weekly and monthly reporting
• Assisting with month end procedures
• General admin tasks

The successful applicant will be a person who possesses the following attributes;

• An accounting degree and working towards obtaining a CPA/CA
• 2 years+ working in a similar role
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel – intermediate
• A high level of aptitude with technology
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive approach and positive attitude

Salary: $5,500.00 – $70,000.00 per year
