Reporting to Morgan Bell, Business Insight Manager, you will join a team of passionate staff who are playing their part in making sure that we are here to deliver an exceptional learning experience for students.
The Analyst is responsible for regulatory, remuneration and ad-hoc reporting. Managing both data-integrity and turning data insights into meaningful stories, the Analyst loves data and providing support to decision-makers. This role is responsible for assisting in the delivery of HR analytics initiatives, HR reporting strategy, workforce management reporting and programs to ensure the HR function is enhanced and aligned to the business strategy
On a typical day in this role you will be responsible for:

Collect and compile HR data and insights from a variety of sources such as payroll, management, and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government statistics and other sources

Ensure data integrity for accurate reporting, and optimise existing HR systems and processes to provide relevant and meaningful insights and reports for the HR team, executive team, and the broader business

Make recommendations for policies and P&C initiatives (based on metrics and analysis) and participate in various P&C projects

Assist with the preparation of tools & dashboards to capture workforce insights and provide HR services relating to workforce planning, resourcing strategies, data analytics and management reporting, HR process improvement etc

Provide timely & accurate HR data and information to support decision making

Develop annual HR reporting calendar
This is a permanent full time role based in Sydney.
To be successful in this position you will have:
-
A sound understanding of HR operations and the data/metrics relevant for a HR function
-
Adaptable across a number of HRIS and related systems, with Workday experience highly regarded

Experience using business intelligence tool, with PowerBI highly regarded

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Successful track record developing insights into people data through reporting and visualisations that can ‘tell a story’, and an impeccable attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, including an ability to provide effective and appropriate advice and information to a variety of stakeholders and to use discretion with confidential information.

Strong attention to detail and organisational and time management skills, the ability to successfully manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

The ability to work independently as directed with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a HR function
