The Opportunity

Reporting to Grace Kim Senior HR Administrator you will join a team of passionate staff who are playing their part in making sure that we are here to deliver an exceptional learning experience for students.
This role provides ongoing support to the business through being the first point of contact for all tier one HR enquires through the maintenance of staff records and required HR documentation required for audit and compliance purposes, undertakes related business reporting, data entry, and ongoing HR process improvements and systems currency.
On a typical day in this role you will:
  • Monitoring the central HR inbox, being first point of contact for tier one HR related queries, and escalating enquires to the relevant HR or business functions.
  • Supporting managers with employee lifecycle administration, including new employee on boarding, change of status, and off boarding documentation, ensuring legislative and internal compliance is adhered to.
  • Generation and recording of employment contracts, changes to terms and conditions, and general employment letters and correspondence, ensuring legislative and internal compliance is adhered to.
  • Liaising and providing relevant information to payroll for new starters, change of status and off boarding within the payroll timeframes.
  • Be the HR Systems expert (Workday) coaching managers and employees on all HR Self Service Systems.
  • Troubleshooting HR System issues and escalation to relevant area
  • Updating the HRIS with all relevant employee lifecycle staff.

This is a Full-Time Fixed term Contract through 15/12/2022 preference for an immediate start located at our Rocks Campus Sydney.

Who are you?

To be successful in this position you will have:
  • Undertaking or have obtained a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related qualification
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience
  • Preference for Workday experience
  • An interest in the Human Resources industry, and applicable industrial legislation
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • A professional approach to dealing with issues of a confidential nature
  • Highly organised, excellent time management and the ability to multi task.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, at all organisational levels
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
