Tops Day Nurseries Hiring for HR Manager Job at Bournemouth, England Full Time

We are currently seeking a HR Manager who will lead and support the team to deliver the HR function across both Tops Day Nurseries and Aspire Training Team. This is an exciting opportunity to continue your career with an expanding employer.

Delivering excellent service to the business, the individual will have the ability to successfully manage a diverse range of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take control, accountability and ownership for the Human Resources function
• Leading and directing the routine functions of the Human Resources department, ensuring that our HR values and standards are delivered across the business.
• To be involved in all aspects of Human Resources including recruitment, on-boarding, compliance, employee relations as well as working in partnership with the HR Director to develop the HR strategic vision and goals across the department, that can support the company.

• To create a team environment that promotes good team member morale and ensures a high level of commitment and pride in the work across the department.
• To support the Recruitment Team Leader to ensure the recruitment team deliver excellent customer service whilst adhering to recruitment KPI’s in line with the company’s recruitment strategy.
• Manage and work closely with the on-boarding and compliance team to ensure KPI’s and delivery expectations are met, developing policy, practice and procedures where necessary.
• To work in partnership with the HR Advisory team to ensure that all regional advisors are operating independently and in line with the HR Directors and company expectations to deliver excellent HR support and guidance across the business.
• Ensure all areas of Employment Law and compliance are met, reviewed and put into practice.
• Support and work with the HR Director to improve and deliver key HR strategies across the growing business
• Ability to write and produce key reports, analysing data and to give structured measures, headlines and suggested actions to the HR Director for consideration.
• Work in partnership with other departments to ensure joint areas and projects are aligned and successful.

What we are looking for:

• Must be a ‘doer’ and operationally strong
• Hands-on HR operator, extremely organised who has the ability to think outside the box creatively in order to offer and implement solutions
• Ability to lead, coach and aspire the team to develop themselves and support the business within their own areas of expertise.
• Have previous experience within employee relations casework and investigation experience in disciplinary, grievance, absence management and change management
• A confident communicator across all functions and levels, who presents effectively in both one to one and group situations.
• Assertive, articulate and charismatic, with an ability to deal effectively with difficult issues and maintain credibility at all levels and at all times.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Must have experience of implementing HR strategies and have the capability to shape HR infrastructure.
• IT literate with the ability to learn and use internal systems, analyse data and use/manipulate excel.
• Align with the company brand, vision and ethos.

Requirements:

• Qualified at or working towards CIPD Level 5 or above (or comparable professional experience), willing to undertake further CPD to CIPD L7
• Experience of systems, databases, writing and delivery of reports at senior management level
• Computer literacy to including use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Office based in Southbourne. Home working can be an option, however must be able to work from our offices when required.
