Topcoat Powder Coating Hiring for Weekend shift. Manufacturing, production, general labour at Abbotsford, BC Full Time

Our company paints metal objects of all shapes and sizes with the ability to provide coatings for 1-off custom and architectural projects, to high volume repeat orders of manufactured products.

We are a fast growing powder coating company looking to fill a position in our production department. Your duties would include quality control of powder coated parts, packaging of finished products in a timely manner, and preparing orders to ship back to our customer. Must be able to read and write work orders, quality reports, and other documentation, with the ability to accurately count quantities of pieces processed.

Previous packaging experience in an assembly line, or manufacturing operation seen as a definite asset. Previous experience with documentation within a shipping and receiving department is also seen as an asset.

Job Duties :

• Proper and safe packaging of customer items using packaging materials and equipment.
• Verification of pieces being sent or received
• Doing a bill of lading for shipments and keeping other paperwork neat and organized to avoid inconsistencies.
• Identify customer material, with work orders
• inventory of shipping and receiving supplies, packaging and preservation of supplies
• Keeping the shop organized and free of non-needed obstructions.
• Plus additional duties as assigned by Leadhands

• Self starter who enjoys responsibility and accountability.
• Use general, impact, power and air tools and airlines
• Operate powered mobile equipment such as forklifts
• A friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work with individuals, groups and other organizations to carry out goals of the organization

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.00-$21.00 per hour
