The Role
As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will provide desktop support to company employees in matters relating to Window’s & Mac operating systems, email and phone systems and associated in-house applications. You will be required to perform desktop PC and laptop repairs, troubleshoot hardware and software faults and install and configure new PC’s and laptops. Good customer facing skills and organisational ability are also key aspects of the
role, as is the ability to work unsupervised.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow a successful career in IT and make
the role their own. There may be requirement to travel to our Stafford or London office occasionally.
Essential Qualities

• 2 years proven experience in a desktop support role
• Ability to work without supervision
• Great problem solver who will identify themes behind the issues and

tracks down their causes in a systematic and analytical way
Looks to automate where possible to improve the efficiency, robustness
and reliability of our IT infrastructure

• Thrives under pressure
• Enthusiasm for systems administration including keeping up to date with

the latest operating systems, tools and techniques

• Positive and proactive approach coupled with the desire to deliver

excellent solutions and service

• Good communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
