Toowoomba Grammar School is seeking an experienced Finance Officer – Accounts Payable to commence in April 2022.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a full time Finance Officer to join our team. This position works in a supportive team environment where innovation and ideas will be fostered. We provide the opportunities for success at Grammar and this is a role that you will be able to make your own. You will work collaboratively within the finance team to deliver measurable monthly targets and your previous experience in this area will be an advantage.

To be successful in this role you must ideally possess:

• A Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Previous training in the fields of Finance, Bookkeeping or Business (finance) are desirable
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, OneNote, Microsoft Teams and MS apps
• Sound knowledge and experience in finance work practices and proficiency with accounting software and databases
• an acute sense of delivering key performance measures within timeframes
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks – dynamic, and action-orientated, who meets deadlines and makes it happen.
