Starting Rates: With Bachelor’s degree – $44,005

With Master’s degree – $45,942

Schedule: Full-time, M-F 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Do you display an aptitude for providing personal, motivational, and academic counseling to youth who may be struggling with academic and employability skills? If yes, then we have a job for you!

Responsibilities:

• Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance to bring their math skills up to the level required to be successful at work and at home.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines to best fit students with a variety of skill levels and learning styles. Class sizes are no larger than 18 students.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Utilize workplace language and behavior expectations in the classroom; relate academic skills to career training and workplace requirements.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and accountability records, progress assessments, and other required documentation.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and current Oregon teaching license or in the process of obtaining one. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency. Valid driver’s license w/acceptable record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,005.00 – $45,942.00 per year
