THE OPPORTUNITY
Position: Director of Talent Management and Acquisition
Talent is a key strategic driver of growth and continued success. TOMS King is seeking a Talent Acquisition leader who will design, build and lead the strategy and execution to meet their recruitment and talent needs. The new leader will lead a growing team of 5 field-based Human Resource Generalists to ensure that the company continues to attract talent for a growing world-class organization.
Through strategic planning and mentorship to the growing team, the Talent Acquisition leader will meet the short- and long-term hiring needs of all teams. The Talent Acquisition leader is one member of an awesome and collaborative HR Executive Team, dedicated to partnering together, to develop and execute Human Resource priorities that support and accelerate business performance. This position requires heavy travel more than 90% of the time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, manage and deliver on a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with TOMS King’s strategies, vision and principles.
Design, build, evolve and develop a best-in-class recruiting organization to meet current and future growth.
Act as a strategic partner to leaders across the organization, by providing innovative and progressive practices, policies and processes in all areas of talent attraction and retention.
Deliver an integrated, modern and tech-enabled approach to building a brand, as well as identifying and connecting with candidates.
Establish a consistent operating model based on solid process design and discipline, that is scalable, measurable and predictable.
Oversee workforce planning and strategies for delivery against business goals.
Lead the Talent Acquisition team to design, implement and continuously improve consistent systems and processes to drive growth and align with the company culture.
Define, develop and socialize recruiting metrics in order to identify improvement opportunities and optimize overall talent acquisition performance.
Assess results and provide regular reporting/dashboards on talent acquisition processes and performance to key stakeholders across the business.
Introduce and evolve best practices (including technologies) to enable continued optimization and efficiency in hiring processes, including sourcing, interviewing, offers and transition to onboarding.
Strengthen the capabilities of leaders by providing coaching and development on best practices interviewing skills and candidate experience.
Ensure effective use of Applicant Tracking System and CRM; evolve these and other tools to meet the growing scale, volume and velocity of TOMS King’s TA needs.
Remain flexible to jump in as a team member on special projects, initiatives or other assignments, as needed.
Drive and oversee compliance with all appropriate and relevant employment-related rules and regulations across the global organization and its geographies.
Actively participate in the HR Leadership Team.
Salary commensurate with experience.

Has successfully developed recruiting vision, strategy and led the execution of action plans.
Must have great experience recruiting and developing teams.
Has deep experience successfully leading recruiting for sustained, high-volume recruiting needs while ensuring quality and culture alignment.
Is results-oriented, analytical and data-driven with consideration for “how” results are achieved.
Has a strong process and continuous improvement commitment and mentality.
Has a high bar for talent and uses a disciplined selection methods and assessments to ensure high-quality hires.
Has a proactive approach to communication and keeping stakeholders informed.
Believes in personal accountability for themselves and others.
Strong track record of building brand and using modern approaches to connect with candidates.
Innovative use of social media and internet-based recruiting tools and channels.
Deep commitment and successful track record of improving and optimizing candidate and hiring team experience.
Is high energy, agile and adaptable, with strong EQ and relationship-building orientation across HR and the business; able to influence at all levels.
Deep knowledge and experience in recruiting across multiple disciplines and functions.
10+ years of talent acquisition, HR and business experience.
EDUCATION
An undergraduate degree is required; MBA is helpful.
