Ensure high levels of learning for every student by collaborating with colleagues to design learning activities and experiences intended to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate, with required endorsements for subjects/level assigned including ESL certificate; Special Education Certificate preferred
Special Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of subjects assigned
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Experience:
At least one year of student teaching or approved internship
Working Conditions:
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
Wage/Hour Status: Exempt
