Job Summary:

This position is responsible for management of all operational functions at multiple branch locations. This includes hiring employees, directing day-to-day work of direct s, overseeing safety and vehicle maintenance, and ensuring service and route efficiency.

Most importantly, having a synergy with sales to promote an environment of growth for the market.

**** Experience in the sanitation industry is strongly encouraged to apply, secondly route based transportation models as well, as there will be direct management of driver force****

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate operational activity for the branch.
• Coordinate with assigned dispatcher on pickups and deliveries and route efficiency
• Supervise all drivers and yard personnel at the location. Manage service levels, routing efficiency, labor, overtime, and fuel.
• Perform job walks, site checks, and make daily calls with executive management and sales.
• Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Act as a liaison between customers and office personnel to resolve general inquiries and issues.
• Implement standard practices and efficiency recommendations.
• Coordinate with Safety & Fleet maintenance to enforce policy and training.
• Create and maintain a positive, safe, and effective work environment.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years related industry, or similar, experience.
• 3+ years in operational management role. Prefer experience in Portable Sanitation and/or Construction support services (Dumpsters, waste, portable toilets, etc). Must have experience in managing driver force. Prefer some basic fleet mechanical knowledge.
