The HR Advisor will be responsible for all aspects of onboarding, employee relations and any changes throughout the employee lifecycle across London or Essex. This will be a pivotable role within the associated region, with the responsibility of assisting practices in relation to any HR opportunities and challenges. The main focus of this role initially will be to work collaboratively with practice teams to ensure that HR service and processes are delivered efficiently to enable our people to perform to the best of their ability.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To be the first point of contact for all Employee relations, performance management and absence management cases.
Working in partnership with Practice Managers and Operations Business Managers to build strong relationships, encouraging collaborative work
Provide advice and guidance to employees across the business in relation to contractual agreements, policies and procedures
Delivery of HR/People projects within the People Plan
Ensuring compliance with company and legal guidelines
Managing the onboarding process from point of offer to confirmation of start date, including DBS checks and gaining the relevant clinical documentation
Ensuring leavers are processed in a timely manner
Ongoing data cleansing and optimal utilization of relevant systems
Completion of HR Administration, namely contract amendment letters, maintaining the HR inbox, right to work checks and system updates
Assisting with audits, including CQC inspections and payroll audits.
Producing reports for the senior management team on turnover figures, absences, inductions and new hires
Assisting with any TUPE integration processes from start to finish
Experience / Skills required:
Prior experience in a HR Advisory role
The ability to multi-task and manage your own deadlines
Experience managing complex ER cases
Good communication skills and an ability to work with and influence at various levels in Together Dental
Multi-site experience
Appreciation for the importance of timely, complete and accurate tasks
Calm under pressure, able to work under own initiative
Strong IT and HRIS systems knowledge
Up to date employment law knowledge
