TNG Hiring for Order Processing Clerk at Burlington, ON Full Time

OUR OPPORTUNITY

TNG in Burlington, Ontario is seeking a motivated part-time Order Processing Clerk to add to our purchasing team. This role will primarily process and track all customer sales orders, and will work an estimated 20 hours per week.

This position may work from home until the office reopens post-Covid pandemic, but will be required to come into the office for training as appropriate.

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, main functions include:

Receive, enter, code and process incoming orders in SAP

Prepare invoices, shipping documents, and contracts

Review orders and verifying data for completeness

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services offered

Verify project status and submit sales order to Production/Purchasing/Logistics Department

Establish, maintain, and update files, records, and other documents

Investigate and respond to inter-departmental inquires

WHAT YOU BRING:
One to two years of experience in a fast paced customer service role or order management role in a high volume manufacturing environment

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) are required

Strong computer skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Excellent data entry skills to quickly and accurately review and input data

Effective communication (both verbal and written), time management and organizational skills

Superior phone etiquette and ability to deal effectively with internal or external customers, peers and management

Strong problem solving skills

SAP, CRM and ERP experience highly preferred

Experience in data processing or inventory management considered an asset
