Accounting Manager Job Description:

The Accounting Manager works closely with all parts of the organization and is the leader in the company’s accounting department reporting which includes responsibility for financial close.financial reporting,revenue recognition,accounts receivable,accounts payable,payroll,etc.This role will manage three individuals.Great benefits!

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company general ledger,credit,and collections and payable functions and assist identifying and driving best practices into the functions
• Facilitate and complete timely monthly,quarterly annual cost
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and analyses
• Assist with consolidation of all subsidiaries
• Assist with the roll out of a new ERP system
• Assist in preparation of support for the parent company’s SEC fillings
• Lead and support quarterly attest reviews and annual audits required
• Drive compliance of SOX controls and support the implementation of new processes to enhance the company control environment
• Provide technical and hands-on implementation support for merger and acquisition activity as required
• Perform special accounting analysis and projects,as requested
• Manufacturing experience a plus

Accounting Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or finance
• 4-8 years of accounting experience required
• Public accounting experience required
• Public accounting experience required(Big 4 National CPA firm preferred
• CPA license preferred
• Strong Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including complex topics and areas
• Highly detail oriented and organized in work
• Ability to multitask and meet assigned deadlines
• Familiar with ERP software as well as well as accounting/auditing principles(SAP preferred)
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees,management
• and external agencies to maximize performance,creatively problem solving and results
• Manufactoring/Inventory experience
• Supervising experience

Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
