Job Description:

Tipping Point Solutions, a training development company specializing in media/video production and interactive, game-based training products, has an immediate opening for an experienced Administrative Support with Logistics Support position with the United States Department of Transportation’s (USDOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Training Center (NTC). The Administrative Support with Logistics Support will coordinate office operations and support production of curriculum, courses, outreach content for the development of instructional materials, media, and interactive eLearning products.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Position will provide basic administrative support for NTC as well as provide logistical support for training course materials, shipping and printing. This includes:

• Performing general office duties including word processing; data entry; copying; mail and parcel processing; providing prompt, courteous and efficient handling of phone calls, emails, and in person visitors.
• Maintains calendar of classroom and conference room reservations and assists with classroom layout and setup which includes basic straightening up of room after training has concluded to prepare rooms for the next class. Communicating classroom reservation policies to customers.
• Assist with supply and purchase orders.
• Tracking and maintaining an up-to-date inventory of course training manuals, examinations, and supplies; provide ample notification of need to restock any of said items
• Ensuring that the appropriate quantity of materials and manuals are delivered on schedule for upcoming courses
• Shipping class materials within established time frames

Preparing print masters, print orders, and tracking the printing of manuals and publications

Candidate requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Eligibility for government security clearance.
• A combination of clerical office, logistics and planning experience
• Undergraduate college level work equivalent to 2 years full time employment.
• Expertise in MS Office software— i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Must possess the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
