TIP Trailer Services Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at Manchester, England Full Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-oriented recruiting and talent acquisition Specialist performing full-cycle recruitment activities in the UK in accordance with the company’s internal hiring process & working with business teams to provide talent acquisition solutions and proposals.

The role has particular emphasis on the recruitment of our Workshop staff across the UK, you will also support the recruitment of non-workshop related roles across our branch network and HQ.

You form part of the local HR team reporting to the regional HR Director as well as being part of the international talent acquisition & recruitment team and will have a dotted line to the Talent Acquisition Director.

Responsibilities:

• You will play a central role in bringing top talent into the organization.
• You will support the entire recruiting process (from job posting to onboarding)
• Sourcing of candidates through all appropriate recruitment tools, job board platforms and social media/campaigns. Be creative in approach, always looking at innovative ways to source candidates.
• Building candidate pipelines for future hiring, understanding the market, and continually keeping up to date with trends
• You proactively identify potential candidates and contact them across multiple platforms
• You pre-select potential candidates, conduct (technical) first-round interviews and support our departments as needed
• You constantly look for potential to improve our hiring process and find new channels of recruiting
• You will work closely with the local HR team and partner with workshop managers and the Regional Technical Engineers and will manage key stakeholders across 4 business groups
• You will lead and develop sourcing initiatives to attract and place technical workshop staff throughout the entire UK & Ireland region
• Able to create an outstanding candidate experience for the entire workshop staff, from initial candidate contact to job offer
• Utilise our recruitment and assessment tools, programs and techniques to identify and attract workshop staff
• Developing existing and prospect candidates using career newsletter, direct sourcing and networks
• Consultatively selling TIP as an employer and making recommendations to potential pipelines
• Analysing the local labour force market, identifying new pools of talent
• Work with external hiring agencies if required by closely liaising with vendors regarding advertisement and employer benchmark projects
• Deliver weekly recruitment status reports and other reports on time and accurately via Workday
• You will work closely with the local HR team and partner with managers from departments/ functions and branches to identify, attract and recruit non-workshop staff

Qualifications / Experience

Required

• Experience of talent sourcing and recruiting experience including a proven track record of researching, identifying and building quality talent pipelines
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels
• You have profound professional experience in recruiting and enthusiasm for finding talent
• You are future- and solution-oriented and eager to learn new things regarding talent acquisition
• You are used to handling confidential information conscientiously and discreetly
• You have a high degree of independence, self-motivation and flexibility with regard to changing conditions and objectives
• You have strong organisational skills, attention to detail and have a strong desire to be successful
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines and the ability to work autonomously when required
• You are social media savvy and have experience of recruiting through social media
• You are proactive and efficient in acquiring new candidates by phone, email, fairs, social media
• Proficient in the use of MS Office software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• The candidate must demonstrate solid team orientation, customer focus, passion for recruiting, and the ability to thrive in a high-demand, results-oriented culture

Preferred

• You have an apprenticeship, vocational or a university degree with a focus on human resources or comparable qualifications
• Preferably experience in the automotive industry
• Experience of Workday HR system

Salary: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
