Tiny Hoppers on Gateway is growing!!

We are currently looking for a dedicated, reliable and committed individual to join our daycare team.

The Company:

Tiny Hoppers Gateway has been open since January 2021. We want the best for our children and staff and will provide our educators with everything they need to implement their emergent/FLIGHT programming.

Salary: The hourly wage range will be based on experience and level.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and implement quality and fun educational experiences that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
• Knowledge of FLIGHT and ability to implement it into your programming
• Create inviting play experiences for children
• Daily observations of children
• Knowledge of licensing and health regulations
• Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toileting habits
• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
• Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and incorporate those into your programming
• Daily record keeping (attendance, observations, room communication book etc)

Requirements:

• Must have valid ECE Certificate/Diploma (Level 1, 2 or 3)
• Must have valid first aid certificate
• Must have a valid Criminal Record Check
• Have a strong understanding of child development and behavior
• Excellent communication skills
• Have strong problem-solving skills and strong ability to multi-task
• Must have a passion for this field and be a committed employee.

Salary: $18.64-$26.50 per hour
