Timberlane Physical Therapy Hiring for Patient Service and Account Representative Full Time

Timberlane Physical Therapy is currently hiring a full-time Patient Services Representative. This role serves as the first point of contact between our patients and the practice. Representatives handle incoming patient phone calls, schedule appointments, greet and check our patients in and out of appointments, and maintain patient records and accounts.

As part of the Timberlane Physical Therapy team, Patient Services Representative provide high quality healthcare services to our patients with a commitment to our values and mission. This role requires a focus on detailed tasks, excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to problem solve when dealing with difficult situations.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

· Acting as TLPT’s customer service representative for inquiring patients, prospects and partners

· Check in patients, verify and update all demographic information in computer and/or medical record and collection of co-payments resulting in proper cash reconciliation

· Verify patient insurance and referrals available

· Check out patients, scheduling necessary appointments according to established protocol.

· Maintain appointment computer scheduling in accordance with office scheduling policies.

· Answer telephone, screen calls, take messages and provide information in accordance with established protocol.

· Be knowledgeable and follow all HIPAA Regulations.

Desired skills and experience:

· Three years administrative skills

· Two-year associate’s degree or higher preferred

• Knowledge of medical office procedures, policies, practices and medical terminology

· Superior organizational skills and attention to detail

· Interpersonal skills to facilitate work with a wide range of individuals and groups

· Initiative taker who can work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment
