Position Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Senior Financial Accountant to join our EMEA Finance team on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the legal entities books and records, assisting with statutory accounting, and the preparation and review of multiple statutory accounts across the TikTok EMEA region.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the relationship with the external accounting service providers, ensure reporting packages are prepared accurately and timely on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Monthly/quarterly reconciliations of your responsible entities.
• Support the delivery of the financial statements; manage the relationship with the external auditors for the relevant countries statutory accounts you are responsible for to ensure delivery of the statutory audit agreed timelines.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting standards, applying group accounting policies, standards, procedures and internal control practices across EMEA entities.
• Ad-hoc reporting for the UK and EC regulators and Group Finance.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACA/ACCA part or fully qualified preferred.
• 3-5 years of Big 4 audit experience and/or in-house TMT industry experience preferred.
• Current theoretical and practical knowledge of IFRS and its implications on reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Experience with large ERP accounting and reporting system, Oracle and HFM preferred.
• Self-directed, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong and collaborative communicator, proficient in English, speaker of another major European language a plus.
