About the Team
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business. We are excited to continue adding to our Human Resources team to attract, engage, and retain top talent to drive the continued growth of the organization.
Your role
As the HR partner to GSB Sales group, you will partner with the team to guide and support talent management, performance management, career development, employee relations, workforce planning and change management activities. You will also have the opportunity to improve existing processes and procedures while collaborating with key stakeholders across the business. Your work will have real-world impact, and you’ll be supported in achieving your career goals.
You love new challenges, embrace change and are comfortable navigating through ambiguity in a fast-moving culture. You will report to our HRBP Leader.
Responsibilities
1. Partner with your assigned business unit and ensure a deep understanding of business strategy and implement high-quality HR practices within the team.
2. Coach and mentor business leaders to help build a strong community that will improve the development of the business.
3. Coach managers on effective use of HR systems (e.g. Workday) to leverage reporting and data insight capabilities.
4. Manage HR operation activities: e.g. Recognition programs, on-boarding of new employees, exit interviews, etc.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership and provide HR guidance when appropriate; including staffing, talent development, performance management, and employee relations.
6. Be the ambassador for the TikTok organizational culture as well as plan and implement activities to continue to drive employee engagement.
7. Assist with recruitment efforts when necessary to ensure continued growth and success of the business.
8. Assist leaders in assessing and identifying resources to meet employee learning & career needs.
9. Participate in the broader Group, Divisional or site HR team to drive HR projects and initiatives.
10. Systems and administrative work to support business needs, including contract management.
1. 2 – 5 years of Human Resources work experience.
2. Strong written and oral English.
3. Strong Project Management Skills.
4. Experience within the e-commerce or technology sector preferred.
5. Comprehensive HR knowledge, especially hands-on experience in employee relations and performance management.
6. Is eager and open to learn and contribute, driven to work efficiently and aiming to deliver outstanding results.
7. Must have extensive knowledge of local compliance and labor laws in Australia and New Zealand.
8. Highly organized and self-sufficient.
9. BA/BS degree preferred.
