How will you make an impact?

Reporting directly to the Director – Human Resources, Australia and New Zealand, you will partner with the HR team and business leaders to drive the national recruitment strategy for Tiffany & Co. Australia & New Zealand locations which include eleven retail stores, the Contact and Distribution Centre and the Sydney corporate office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct full cycle recruitment activities for all retail and office-based positions including: drafting job descriptions and advertisements, posting positions, screening and shortlisting, background and reference checks, psychometric assessments, liaising with hiring managers and business partners for approvals and interviews, and maintain currency of open roles and candidate information on the Oracle Recruitment system.
• Use innovative sourcing strategies to build a network of candidates through proactive search, professional networks, career events, employee referral program and education partnerships. Build local market maps for external talent pipelines using LinkedIn, leverage our recruitment database and managers networks.
• Capture external compensation and benefits data on our recruitment system and excel for key positions we recruit for to help influence and ensure Tiffany’s compensation and benefits and our employee value proposition in general remains competitive in the market.
• Provide monthly reporting on key recruitment metrics and submit open roles for approval
• Enhance the Tiffany & Co. employer brand by driving employer branding initiative projects which include creating and managing a media calendar to promote different aspects of the Tiffany employer brand on various media channels
• Ensure consistency of brand across internal, external, and recruitment agency advertisements and vendor relationship management
• In partnership with HR and Global Talent Acquisition, ensure we drive a best-in-class recruitment and candidate experience and align with global programs.
• Support with identifying top internal talent and work with management to develop internal talent pipelines for future roles.
• Build strong relationships with HR team and business leaders to establish talent acquisition as a valuable and impactful business focus.
• Develop people leaders Talent Acquisition capability through formal training and coaching to ensure leaders are always recruiting and maximising their candidate care and pipeline.
• Act as the APAC regions Talent Acquisition champion driving improvement of the new Recruitment System and driving innovative global recruitment initiatives

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or relevant discipline is desirable
• Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience within a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience working in high volume recruitment through to senior positions
• Experience working in a complex global matrixed organization is highly desirable
• Experience in luxury or specialty retail, consumer products or service industry preferred
• Strong relationship management and influencing skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels in the organization
• Superior networking capability to develop strong candidate relationships in the luxury jewelry industry, build the employer brand online, at industry events and through college or university fairs
• Strong customer-service orientation, ability to prioritise multiple initiatives and desire to deliver end to end solutions

• Self-motivation to think outside the box and develop creative/innovative solutions.
• Optimistic, positive, humble, empathic and an ability to relate to others and respond to their needs
• Attention to detail and proven ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent technical skills; in-depth knowledge of applicant tracking technology and general Microsoft applications; familiarity with best practices in social networking; ability to leverage technology to attract candidates and drive effective and efficient operations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop trust and foster relationships with all levels within an organization.
• Strong organisational skills; ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
