We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team on a 3 x month contract. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for all accounting and will play an integral role in effectively leading and managing the overall financial reporting and compliance function of Tiffany & Co. Australia & New Zealand.

Your role in the Tiffany Legacy

Based at our Sydney CBD office, this role will be responsible for:

• Internal and External (statutory) financial reporting
• Financial compliance, tax and financial transactional processing for the company’s retail function in ANZ
• Developing and Implementing strategies, processes, and systems to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement within these functions
• Maintaining an effective internal control environment, which includes compliance with the Company’s internal control requirements
• Ensure timely and accurate financial information is prepared in accordance with both locally required GAAP and US GAAP as well as Company accounting policies
• Coordination of audit activities with external financial audit firms
• Leading a team of 4 individuals

Perfect fit?

• Degree holder in Accounting / Finance or related degree
• Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
• 5-10 years of working experience with a minimum of 2-3 years of management experience
• US GAAP and IFRS knowledge and experience
• Experience in a multinational corporate environment
• Good interpersonal skills, team player, self-motivated and analytical mind
• Experience with JDE or other ERP system
• Strong Microsoft word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent and written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• High level of self-management with an ability to function amidst tight deadlines and changing priorities
• Ability to prioritize and work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced and team-oriented environment
