Ti Design Hiring for Entry Level IT Tech / Website Maintenance / Marketing Tech Support at Pearl City, HI Full Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking to fill an entry level tech support role for our machine shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in maintaining the shop’s network, website maintenance, marketing support and providing technical support to employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and maintaining the shop’s network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and networking segment of our CNC machines.
• Monitor network performance and assist in providing resolution.
• Assist in updating and maintaining our websites, fulfilling orders and maintaining inventory.
• Monitor digital marketing performance, ensure digital marketing systems maintain connectivity and assist in the creation of digital marketing advertisements.
• Provide technical support on CNC machines and laser systems to minimize downtime
• Help install and configure software and hardware, including CNC machines, laser systems, computers and other shop floor devices.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or machine shop environment is preferred but not required. We’re looking for a candidate that’s tech savvy and willing to learn.
• Candidates must have a general understanding of networking terms such as ip addresses, domains, samba, ping, and more. Knowledge of DOS and Linux is a plus. This entry level position offers full training to relate basic networking principles to our CNC machines.
• Basic experience with website development, maintenance and inventory tracking.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues related to the shop’s operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to support the shop’s goals and objectives.
