Position Overview:

thysssenkrupp Uhde USA is one of the leading technology driven engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCm) companies in the chemical plant engineering and construction business. We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter for our US operations with offices in Houston, TX and Pittsburgh, PA. The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be responsible for identifying leads and acquiring top candidates for our engineering, procurement and construction management teams as well as related supporting disciplines. This position can be remote within the continental United States.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Internal Relationship Management

• Responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle which includes lead generation, posting jobs, feedback, and interactions with Hiring Managers / HR Business Partners.

• Connect with Hiring Managers in a timely, professional, and responsive manner to facilitate the ongoing recruiting process.

• Identify & communicate continuous improvement opportunities and strategies.

• Conduct role briefing with Hiring Managers and set expectations for recruitment process.

• Keep updated records of candidates screened, short-listed, interviewed and hired, providing Hiring Managers

with up-to-date information on current and past hiring processes.

• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Process Management & Sourcing

• Create & execute multi-channel sourcing strategy to source candidates meeting required profile and/or building talent pool for current and future requirements

• Use competency and behavior-based interviewing to identify and differentiate candidate in presentation and short-list process

• Review short-list with Hiring Managers and arrange interviews with Hiring Managers

Candidate Relationship Management

• Effectively communicate position opportunity and company value proposition

• Manage all candidates effectively throughout recruitment process

• Develop and maintain relationships and seek referrals of other candidates

• Manage candidate expectations and ensure timely and constructive feedback

Hiring and Onboarding

• Agree on terms and conditions with the selected candidate

• Create and finalize hiring offer documents, track receipt of documents, verifiy I-9 documentation

• Facilitate the new hire on-boarding process.

• Assist with New Hire Orientation program and presentations as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Four-year college degree preferred.

• Minimum of 6 to10 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment.

• Experience in hiring highly qualified Engineering and technical disciplines is required.

• Able to conduct and document screening process including CV’s pre-screening, telephone interview and short

listing.

• Able and willing to contact candidates/sources directly and brief candidate on the opportunity and company value proposition for professional/technical and management roles.

• Able to conduct competency-based interviews.

• Able to easily manage candidates in all aspects of the recruiting process, ensuring candidate expectations are being managed and constructive feedback is given in a timely manner, optimizing the candidate experience within specified guidelines for majority of range of roles and role levels.

• Familiar with applicant tracking systems, updating records and information ensuring system integrity and accuracy of client ing and analytics.

• Must be flexible and adaptable to changing client needs and must be able to multitask and change tasks/priorities quickly while keeping deadlines.

• Business fluency in English (oral and written).

• Authorized to work in the United States of America.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Comprehensive network in the chemical / industrial engineering, procurement and construction industry • Extensive experience with LinkedIn Recruiter

• Intercultural experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
