Thunderbolt Contracting Ltd is Looking For Hydroseeder Assistant at Ottawa, ON Full Time

Thunderbolt Contracting is looking for a hardworking, self-motivated individual to work alongside our water truck driver and/or hydroseeder operator during the summer and fall months. Positions for winter employment are also available.

Responsibilities:

• Assist driver in carrying out their daily route.
• Operate hydroseeder by properly combining mixture of seed, mulch, fertilizer, soil amendments, and water, and applying it evenly to the intended surface.
• Water newly planted sod, trees, and plants in major housing developments, city parks, and other large scale landscape projects.
• Additional duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Positive attitude, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to maintain professional company image.
• Willingness to follow health & safety regulations of our profession.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to lift 50+lbs
