Three Points Center Hiring for Science Teacher 6-12 at Hurricane, UT Full Time

Three Points Academy, which serves students at Three Point Center, a residential treatment center for adopted youth, has openings for a certified Science teacher. Certified teachers with multiple endorsements are especially needed.

Our students struggle emotionally, socially and behaviorally, so we are looking for teachers with great classroom management skills, who are firm but flexible; caring and confident; creative and playful. Our teachers teach small groups, using face-to-face methods, to build trusting relationships. Online coursework is available as well and teacher’s may facilitate these courses or use a blended model. Teachers work 40 hours per week and the school calendar includes 229 days, including a summer session.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree, Secondary Utah Teaching License, with appropriate endorsements and effective teaching experience. Please send resume, with references, and two recommendation letters.

Compensation: $50,000-$60,000 depending on years of full-time teaching experience and expertise (bachelors/masters degree).
