Thoughtexchange Hiring for Software Tester Intern (Fall 2022) at Canada Full Time

We are looking for an empathetic and curious individual to join our team as a Software Tester Intern who is able to turn that empathy into constructive feedback on the end-to-end usability of the product. As a Software Tester Intern you will collaborate with software engineers and product managers to ensure we deliver a complete experience to our customers. You will be proactive in maintaining and executing test scripts, testing updates and fixes and identifying and clearly documenting issues so that they are easy to understand. This will be a 4 month internship which will start in September and end in December and will be a remote role.

Responsibilities:
Maintain and execute test scripts as well as test fixes

Identify and clearly document issues so that they are easy to understand

Develop an understanding of the product line and proactively stays informed of the latest changes in the software

Follows established procedures for running tests and reporting issues using the core tools: Axosoft, Google suite

Updates test coverage matrix with requirements and test cases

Continually expands knowledge and understanding of software testing practices

Reviews product stories and attends kick-off meetings as required
