Position- Project Manager

Location- Gloucester

Salary- £60000-£70000

Type- Permanent

Thorn Baker is pleased to be working with a main contractor in the civil engineering industry. The successful candidated will be responsible for a multi million pound section of work on a project consisting of various elements including 278 works, drainage, roads, and general infrastructure. This project is based in Gloucester.

Thorn Baker’s client is expecting to double it’s turnover in the next 2 years and a big part of this growth will come from projects being won in the South West region. With this in mind Thorn Baker’s client can provide a stable working environment in the local area.

As Projdct Manager you will:

• Agree the timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver the project
• Select and lead a project team
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers for materials and services
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders
• Make sure all paperwork is done for making bids and spending

 Thorn Baker’s client is looking for someone with:

• SMSTS, CSCS, 1st id (minimum)
• Demonstrable experience working on multi million pound civil engineering projects
• Excellent communication skills
