The Talent Acquisition Leader will be responsible for developing and leading all strategic aspects of talent acquisition worldwide and manage the U.
S. talent acquisition function. The primary goal for this role is to attract, hire and retain top-tier talent to ensure the continued success and growth of the organization.
The incumbent will own the recruitment lifecycle and candidate experience globally while managing the U.S. Talent Acquisition team and actively recruiting for open positions.
The leader oversees recruiting for exempt, non-exempt and a non-union hourly workforce. Although the location of the position is in Newton, NJ, from time to time it may be required to undertake duties at other Thorlabs locations.
Travel to recruiting events required.
Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to :
Develops and implements a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the business strategy and meets the needs of a rapidly growing organization.
Develops recruiting, sourcing, and retention strategies specific to the U. S. labor market and related action plans while implementing best practices to support the talent needs of the organization.
Uses various traditional and non-traditional recruiting techniques.
Utilizes data driven insights to assess and enhance the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
Drives the development and execution of employee branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice.
Develops materials to create a unified approach to recruiting globally, with consistent messaging.
Provides metrics s on a weekly basis.
