Thomson Reuters Hiring for Software Project Manager at Pyrmont, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Software Project Manager to join our Professional Services team and lead the delivery of the Thomson Reuters Legal Software [HighQ, Legal Tracker] implementation projects.

About The Role

As a Project Manager within our Professional Services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring successful delivery of our Legal Software solutions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with customers across various industries. You will work closely with our cross functional Sales, Customer Success, Support and Product teams to onboard our customers, develop customer relationships, and ensure their success and satisfaction.

• Deliver end to end software implementations for our customers across region.
• Focus on strong customer relationships and customer satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities as Project Manager will be:

• Manage and execute software implementation projects, from initiation to project closure
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, risk registers and other project documentation to ensure projects stay on track and meet customer requirements
• Proactively manage risks and issues, and escalate where needed
• Anticipate the resourcing needs across projects and adjust project delivery and expectations accordingly
• Revenue optimisation by ensuring billable and out of scope work is properly captured, estimated, agreed and billed
• Work in collaboration with implementation partners and other internal and external stakeholders
• Have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and contribute to the customer satisfaction KPI
• Follow internal Project Management Office guidelines and methodologies team to ensure project ing is completed in a timely manner
• Assess project outcomes, collect feedback, and identify areas for improvement
• Be responsible in managing and updating the various project management artifacts
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements within the team

About you:

To be successful in the role, you will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• 2-4 years’ experience in managing concurrent software implementation projects
• Experience within a corporate or legal operations environment highly desirable
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Strong stakeholder and customer relationship management skills
• Commercial and business acumen with strong time management, influence and leadership
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Experience in applying project methodologies like Waterfall and Agile
• PMP or equivalent project management qualification is highly desirable
• Proficiency in IT and project management principles
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills particularly the ability to see problems objectively (e.g.: from customers’ viewpoint)
