The Legal Practice and Productivity group is looking to add an Associate Software Engineer to the team at our new Technology Centre in Toronto, Ontario, conveniently located within walking distance of Union Station. Our plan is to create around 1,500 technology and operations jobs in the coming years.

Legal Tracker is an industry-leading corporate legal solution with a focus on matter management, e-billing and analytics. As a SaaS offering, this product caters to over 1500 corporate legal departments in North America to streamline operations, control spend and get complete visibility into the legal landscape.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Software Engineer, you will:
Develop and Deliver: applying modern development practices, you will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, building, testing and delivering high quality solutions

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Associate Software Engineer if you:

You have a passion for technology

Have a fundamental understanding of the SDLC and hands-on experience in one or more programming languages (C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) all while putting the customer first.

Have experience with SQL databases

Have experience working in an Agile environment

Demonstrate proficiency in automation, system monitoring, and cloud-native applications (Azure, AWS or a related cloud platform)

Have a desire to learn and embrace new and emerging technology

Have a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering or related technical field.
