System Engineering is a specialist team made up of highly skilled individuals across the full range of Engineering disciplines, i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and EC&I, with the responsibility of maintaining an appropriate Asset Management strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and oversight of a range of mechanical systems (fluid handling and treatment, heating and ventilation, air conditioning, towns main water) and will become a valued addition to a dynamic and pro-active group of System Engineers.”

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of a range of mechanical systems:

• Monitor and report on the system health of mechanical assets; piping / venilation / heating
• Develop routine maintenance arrangements in line with the long-term company strategy for specific assets and systems
• Prepare design and technical specifications for plant modifications

Skills and Experience

• Educated to HNC or Engineering Degree
• Experience with oversight and maintenance of a range of mechanical systems; fluid handling, heating and ventilation, air conditioning
• Questioning attitude and willingness to research asset history in situations where information might not be readily available
• Experience of working with and updating version controlled processes / procedures / documents /drawings
• Self-motivated and ability to work using own initiative
• Good communications skills to be able to co-ordinate and facilitate the role with staff internally and externally
