Third Way Hiring for Higher Education Researcher – Contract position at Remote Full Time
Third Way is seeking a temporary Higher Education Researcher to provide research and materials for our education program.
This project will include :
Track federal higher education policy developments and media conversations, and provide written and digital products on higher education policy issues,
Perform original data analysis to identify trends and relevant findings related to improving student outcomes in higher education
Produce internal and external memos, developing materials for coalition meetings and campaigns, reports, and/or presentations on higher education policy issues
**Please note all duties and meetings will be completed virtually.
Prior project experience:
Awareness of the US higher education system and the politics of higher education;
Familiarity with relevant higher education datasets and the ability to conduct basic data manipulation;
Strong writing skills and an interest in explaining complex topics to a non-expert audience
This is a short-term contract to last between the months of June and August 2022. The hourly rate for this position is $25/hr.
