Job Type: Full Time

THIRA Health seeks a full-time, onsite Dishwasher. The dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all food pans, sheet pans, food racks, cooking utensils, kitchenware, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. Ensures areas used to complete these tasks are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary facility. The dishwasher will make sure all dining room tables and floors are cleaned and sanitized after every meal.

Job Duties

• Washing and putting away dishes.
• Cleaning dining room tables and floors Following all sanitation standards.
• Taking out kitchen and dining room trash and recycling to designated disposal area.
• Follow kitchen guidelines concerning patient services, food, and physical safety, maintenance, and equipment/space cleaning requirements at all times.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift between 25- 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields
• Previous dishwashing experience preferred
• Ability to build rapport with THIRA staff and other employees
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Our Chief Finance & Operations Officer, David Krekel-Zoppi, came to THIRA after nearly a decade at Virginia Mason Medical Center and more recently having managed business and operations with Dr. Mehri Moore at The Moore Center.
