POSITION SUMMARY
As an Inside Sales Representative at Think|Stack, you’ll be integral in scaling our revenue growth. You will have the opportunity to advance your sales career to the next level with a stable company that is currently experiencing a high growth period. In this role, you will focus on top of the funnel sales activity, including prospecting, setting meetings, and following up on leads generated by marketing and sales activity.
This role is responsible for converting cold or warm leads into prospects through proactive sales activity. As part of this you will be primarily responsible for taking leads generated through partners and our marketing and business development team members and cultivating them to set initial meetings for our Business Development Executives. You will do this by making sales calls, sending follow-up and education email communication. You will be providing education to prospects about Think|Stack, and work to understand their goals and drivers. Additionally, you may need to generate leads, build relationships with partners and vendors, and assist in the quote or proposal building process.
A successful Inside Sales Representative should be a self-starter and highly organized. You’ll be able to manage and execute a sales funnel. You’ll be able to track key metrics, follow up steps, and capture notes. You have a natural curiosity to identify, investigate and solve prospects problems. Ultimately you are driven by helping us achieve our revenue and growth goals and our customers achieve their digital transformation goals.
essential functions & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow up and outbound cold calls and emails.
· Understanding customer needs and requirements
· Representing Think|Stack’s core values as the initial touchpoint for new business.
· Routing qualified opportunities to the Growth team for further development and closure
· Documenting and tracking activity, metrics, and action items to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and facilitate handoff to Growth team.
· Researching prospects, identifying key players, and generating leads for new business opportunities
· Understanding the benefits of the products and services offered by our company, and fluently articulating those benefits to customers.
· Proactively developing business opportunities by identifying prospects, evaluating their position in the industry, and analyzing sales options.
· Contacting potential customers on the phone, by email, and/or in person.
· Collecting and analyzing information and preparing data and sales s.
· Handling prospect questions and inquiries.
· Preparing and sending quotes and proposals.
· Collaborating with the sales & marketing team to develop new strategies based on lessons learned though prospecting activity.
· Managing the sales process utilizing a CRM
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred)
· 3+ years of proven success in a sales role
· Proficiency in current selling and retention techniques
· Highly organized
· Drive and creativity to effectively track and follow up with leads
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical clients and internal team members
· Self-starter with a commitment to results that will stay focused and on-track while working remotely
· Ability to handle, track and communicate a multitude of details at many organizational levels for multiple stakeholders and relay status promptly to the rest of the team.
· Tech knowledge – understanding of the business case for cloud, cybersecurity, and networking technologies (essential function)
· Industry knowledge – understanding of our target market (credit unions and financial services institutions (preferred)
