Hey UK based wordpress developers!

We are a small innovative online education company now looking for a front end developer to help out on a number of wordpress and UX jobs. This is a freelance, casual job where you will be hired for individual tasks. We are looking for an ongoing relationship with a reliable freelance working on a rate per job or per hour who can turnaround work fast and efficiently.

Skills:

• Wordpress – CSS – some Javascript

• web and UX design, repurposing company branding

Typical task:

• Designing or implementing design of landing pages and web pages

• Improving mobile and responsive experience

Our public site is Wordpress using the X Theme with bits of javascript. We also use Woocommerce. A great visual eye, a strong design sense and excellent coding skills are essential. Good detailed technical knowledge of CSS and other supporting technologies is expected.

We’d like to see some examples of your work, with a clear indication of the nature and limits of your contribution. We want to know the technologies with which you are most familiar and those you have a good working knowledge.

We will then give you a small job at a fixed price and see how you get on. If that goes well then we’ll take it from there.

We are only interested in working with an individual freelancer not a company. You need perfect spoken English. Give some indication in your covering letter that you have read this, thought about it and this isn’t just. a quick cut and paste!

We will not work with recruitment agents or companies. Don’t waste your time and reputation.

You must be in the UK or Ireland – exceptionally elsewhere in the EU with completely native spoken and written English.

Contract length: 2-6 months

Part-time hours: 2-40 per week
