Job description – Registered Migration agent/Education Counseller

About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Migration Agent/ Assistant or Education Counsellor. If you are an enthusiast with a can-do attitude, looking for a challenge, we invite you to join our Think Higher family!

If you are a Registered Migration Agent and have the capability to work on your own, you can get the opportunity to earn up to $25,000/month*.
What you would do
· Provide accurate and timely migration advice and assistance across a variety of visa sub-classes.
· Prepare and lodge precise visa applications, mainly student and temporary visas to the Department of Home Affairs (DHA).
· Liaise with the DHA and related stakeholders including skill assessment authorities
· Continuously expand and maintain a knowledge base of migration legislation and policies.
· Create and preserve the client base and relationships by participating in existing business development activities.
· Act in accordance with the Code of Conduct is administered by the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) in Australia.
Skills and Experience
· Minimum 2 years of experience practicing in the migration and education industry.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Demonstrable ability to manage time and work with deadlines.
· Capacity to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
Essentials
· Current MARA registration OR QAEC/ PIER/ ISANA.
· Own professional insurance.
· Completion of Graduate Certificate in Migration Law (or currently pursuing).
