The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition Australia, you will join a collaborative, experienced and supportive team and focus predominately on the sourcing and hiring of volume blue-collar production and maintenance mining talent to support multiple sites throughout Queensland. You will have the pleasure of being based at our beautiful head office in South Bank, working alongside our Brisbane-based team, liaising with key stakeholders and hiring managers across the business.

Success Factors

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well as part of a terrific team

Self-motivation and the commitment to deliver for our internal clients (hiring managers and stakeholders) and external clients (potential talent)

Ability to post advertisements aimed at attracting necessary talent, shortlist candidates, and progress them to interview with a consistent sense of urgency

Facilitation of candidate interviews (we can also coach and develop you to do so!)

Ability to prioritise and work well in a busy environment

A focus on consistent and clear communications with prospective candidates

Compliance management for a thorough recruitment process

Proactively mobilising candidates by driving organisation of medicals and onboarding

General ad-hoc recruitment administration capabilities (attention to detail a must!)
