THG Hiring for HR Advisor Job at Frome, England Full Time

We now have over 700 talented individuals working across our sites in Trowbridge and Frome – including a state-of-the-art laboratory and 78,000 square foot ever-growing manufacturing site!

Due to continued growth and expansion within our business, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic HR Advisor to join our manufacturing site in Frome, Somerset. As the HR Advisor, you will work closely alongside our HR Partner and build strong relationships with our employees across the entire operational function. You will play an active role in a fantastic team of highly knowledgeable, engaged and hardworking individuals who work closely as a team to meet and exceed our company vision.

Key aspects of the role: –

• Assisting with the day-to-day management of absence casework, advising on process and policy and supporting when appropriate at escalation points
• Managing the relationship with Occupational Health and referring employees as appropriate
• Supporting Managers with any recommendations related to reasonable adjustments or other advice from the company’s Occupational Health providers
• Monitoring key metrics in the Operations area such as retention and attendance
• Management of maternity / paternity process with the support of the HR Assistant
• Supporting with flexible working requests, fairly and consistently
• Providing accurate and timely first line HR advice to Managers, Supervisors and Employees
• Supporting the HR Business Partner with investigations for capability, grievance and disciplinary
• Conducting Exit interviews with leavers, highlighting any concerns or opportunities to improve the employee experience
• Providing support with employee engagement activities including the employee Business Partnership Forum
• Providing support for Training and Development and supporting with recruitment activities
• Communicating effectively and positively with all teams, colleagues, and managers.
• Helping to promote a positive working atmosphere within the company.

Requirements: –

• CIPD Level 3 Qualification or equivalent skills and experience
• Strong level of computer literacy including Excel
• Ability to build strong relationships at all levels
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Compassionate with a caring and concerned approach
• Self-motivated and disciplined
