Summary:
Receives stock, logs in chemicals & columns, stocks the lab with supplies, provides the lab with Deionized (DI) water, clean glassware, updates the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), removes pharmaceutical waste from the lab and maintains the overall cleanliness of the lab. Provide support in monitoring business process performance measures and notify management of potential quality or regulatory issues that may affect product quality of regulatory compliance.

Essential Functions:
Tracks and logs in chemicals, logs in columns, receives stock, updates the purchasing inventory database, stocks the labs with supplies and clean glassware, cleans the lab.

Collects pharmaceutical waste from the laboratories and associate responsibilities (e.g. removing aqueous and flammable waste from the flasks, performing the first rinse, preparing the waste jugs for collection).

Cleans glassware.

Fills/re-fills and transports de-ionized water jugs into the PDS labs.

Prepares mobile phase, dissolution medium and diluents for AD Chemists.

Keeps mobile phase preparation/kitting area organized.

Orders reagents and glassware for lab.

Organizes reagents and columns for lab.

Logs in reference standards.

Other duties as required.

Education:
High School Diploma.

Experience:
One year experience working in a laboratory.

Equivalency:
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

Competencies:
Previous experience in a scientific environment.

Good interpersonal skills.

Responsible, reliable and good team player.

Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access).

Proficiency with the English language.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Physical Requirements:
Little physical effort and fatigue. Walks, sits or stands for limited periods. May require occasional equipment operations including keyboard equipment. Lifts light items for limited duration.
