The Associate HR Business Partner (known as a Sr HR Specialist at PPD) drives HR alignment with the business and is part of the HRBP team that ensures focus on people strategy and talent management. This role will provide support to company leadership, providing guidance around attracting and retaining talent, coaching developing leaders, facilitating meetings, and designing & delivering department-specific training. In the Associate HRBP role, you will be expected to maintain resilience and flexibility as you support the implementation of restructures and organizational realignment resulting in successful business outcomes.
Job Description:
Participates in the HR Business Partners (HRBP) function to develop leaders and implement new HR programs and department-specific training.
Provides support for talent reviews, including pre-work and post-review follow up
Provides support for change management and organizational realignment such as designing roles, ensuring structural alignment, and implementing related activities.
Liaise with HR Advisors and COEs provide input into strategic approaches to people related issues.
Acts as point of the contact for company leaders and provides advice and support on a wide range of strategic and operational Human Resources issues in the business unit.
Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors and uses information to provide insights to leadership.
Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Contacts are primarily internal to the company with infrequent external customer / vendor contact on routine matters.
Builds productive internal / external working relationships.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to build relationships across a cross-functional team of diverse styles, skill sets, and experience levels as well as the ability to influence internal partners and team members through interpersonal skills including coaching, facilitation, problem solving, conflict resolution.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
Previous HR experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years’) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

Operates with a high level of integrity and keeps information confidential.
Ability to seamlessly handle changing scenarios and help to implement change such as restructuring and reorgs.
