Theorem Design Group (Theorem) is in search of a bridge engineer who is ready to advance in their career and be the technical lead of our bridge design practice with an opportunity to grow into our bridge group manager. Who are we?

Theorem was founded in January of 2022 by three principal engineers which specialize in roadway design, hydraulic design, and structural design. The principals have over 50 years of engineering design experience almost exclusively in the State of Colorado. In Theorem’s first year, they were awarded two prime consulting contracts, one from the City of Littleton and one from CDOT Region 1. Combine those key wins with a handful of projects working as a subconsultant, and Theorem has developed a healthy backlog and is looking to expand in 2023.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. A Masters’ Degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
• Registered Colorado Professional Engineer, SE license or ability and desire to obtain preferred.
• 7 to 15 years of experience in the design of bridges and transportation structures
• Experience using structural analysis and design software such as LARSA, SAP2000, Midas Civil, MDX, CSi Bridge, LPILE, spColumn, PSBeam, PGSuper, QConBridge, AASHTOWare BrR, and /or other software
• Experience working with CDOT and Colorado municipalities
• Excellent communication skills and desire to mentor and train others
• Strong technical background with a thorough understanding of structural analysis methods and applicable codes such as the AASHTO LRFD Manual
• Experience on a variety of transportation structures including precast concrete girder bridges, CIP concrete bridges, steel bridges, prestressed and/or post-tensioned concrete, retaining walls, metal and/or concrete culverts, drilled shaft or driven pile foundation systems, drainage and utility structures, etc.
• Experience with various delivery methods including DBB, CM/GC, and design-build
