We are looking for a Network Specialist to join our Technical Support team and bring energy and expertise to our large technical client base. As a Network Specialist, you will be able to showcase your ability to plan, design, as well as implement complex IT network technologies and strategies.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Design, configuration, and implementation of multivendor firewall, switching, and WiFi devices

Integration, troubleshooting, and support of multivendor WAN/LAN network environments

Client relationship management as part of The ITeam’s client support team

Participate in ongoing support and service delivery, needs analysis, solution design, and delivery

Provide second and third-level technical support to clients, including general network administration

Supporting multiple clients and networks, onsite and through remote access

Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills

Your resume will outline the following:
7 or more years of related and progressive IT technical experience

Post-secondary degree or diploma with an IT focus or equivalent

Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge implementing, configuration, integrating and supporting network devices from multiple vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Sonicwall, and/or Fortinet)

Strong working knowledge of Aruba Central, Cisco FMC, Sonicwall GMS and/or FortiManager

Knowledge of networking concepts such as WAN connectivity, transport types and protocols

Experience working with Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, RDS

Investment in further knowledge and education through further certifications (examples include: Cisco, Aruba, Sonicwall, or Fortinet security appliances)

Experience with all aspects of business networks – end-user support, security, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, desktop, and software version management
