TheDriveGroup Hiring for Machine Learning Researcher at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

An exciting AI Startup is looking to continue to scale its ML Research team as they enter the next phase of growth.

Our client is a cutting-edge company at the forefront of Generative AI, and they are searching for Machine Learning Researchers to drive the R&D of advanced AI models. This is an exciting opportunity to join them during a period of significant growth.

As an ML Researcher, your typical day will involve researching and Developing AI models. Your background in Academics and your PhD in AI or ML will be invaluable in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Transform and train Data Science products and ML systems
• Work closely with the business to ensure research is solving specific use-cases
• Research and implement suitable ML algorithms and tools based on business requirements
• Create appropriate datasets and employ effective data representation methods
• Conduct statistical analysis and refine ML libraries and frameworks
• Train and retrain systems as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• PhD in a related field, NLP or Deep Learning is highly regarded
• Research experience in both an Academic and Commercial setting is required
• Solid understanding of data structures, data modelling, and software architecture
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch
