TheDriveGroup Hiring for Machine Learning Engineer at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

We are currently seeking a talented Computer Vision Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in object detection models or related research. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is revolutionizing the detection and tracking industry.

As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will collaborate closely with various technical resources to develop the system responsible for detection and tracking. You will leverage your expertise in MLOps, data management, algorithms, and platform development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Python and Go
• Design and implement computer vision algorithms for tracking and detection
• Train models for classification and localization tasks
• Ensure software stability and optimize platform performance
• Integrate models and algorithms into the detection platform
• Ensure successful and reliable deployment of the platform and computer vision models

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with computer vision models and algorithms
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, preferably Python, Golang, or C++
• Experience with edge compute/embedded Computer Vision software in commercial applications is highly valued
