The Yay Company Hiring for Delivery Driver – School Lunches at Chantilly, VA Full Time

Yay Lunch is out to fundamentally change school food for the better. We are a digital school food marketplace, connecting schools to wonderful local foodmakers within their own communities to get fresher, healthier, more delicious and more diverse food to kids everyday.

Since launching a pilot in Spring 2018 in Charlottesville, VA, we have expanded rapidly, now serving multiple markets along the East Coast. We have aggressive growth plans backed by experienced venture capital partners, and we are excited about bringing school lunch up to a modern standard, using technology to make lives easier.

You must be:

• Reliable and punctual with a sense of urgency
• Outgoing, gregarious, personable, and with a service-oriented mentality
• A good communicator with the ability to problem-solve and think on your feet
• Professional and presentable
• Available approximately for 2 hours per day (9:30am – 12:30pm), Monday through Friday
• Able to lift and carry 30-50 lbs without assistance

As a driver, you must have:

• Strong time management skills
• Strong verbal communication skills
• A smartphone
• A reliable, personal vehicle with proof of valid insurance
• The ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle check

Compensation: $20 per hour + mileage
